Gynecologic Subcommittee

Charges:

1.   To review the current data and evidence supporting particle beam therapy for gynecologic malignancies.

2.   To develop best practice guidelines for the technical and clinical use of particle therapy for gynecologic malignancies.

3.   To support prospective clinical registries or clinical trials of particle therapy for gynecologic cancers.

4.   To contribute to PTCOG conferences through abstract review, scientific and educational sessions focused on gynecologic cancers.

PTCOG Publications Subcommittee

The PTCOG Publications Subcommittee was authorized at the PTCOG 46 Steering Committee Meeting.

The Publications Subcommittee consists actually of the following Chairpersons:

Task Group I :Shielding Design and Radiation Safety of Charged Particle Therapy Facilities.

In 2010 the PTCOG Publications Subbommittee Task Group, chaired by Nisy Ipe, Consultant Shielding Design, Dosimtery & Radiation Protection, San Calos, CA, USA, published the PTCOG Report 1 on Shielding Design and Radiation Safety of Charged Particle Therapy Facilities (see Report Published 2010).

Task Group II : Clinical Protocols of Charged Particle Therapy Facilities.

PTCOG Executive Committee

The PTCOG Executive Committee was authorized at the PTCOG 54 Steering Committee Meeting according to the PTCOG Statutes, Art.15 and Art.16. It acts for all authorized governance and operational matters of the PTCOG Society and reports to the PTCOG Steering Committee.
